I have learnt so much from my colleagues at Kennis about how joint effort, goodwill and cooperation really do lead to a great work experience and produce the best results for the customer. It is so important to come to every problem with a fair mind and a focus on helping out. This approach to work makes me feel good about what we do.
Growing up in Australia and New Zealand, Dominic completed a degree in languages and linguistics at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He has lived and worked in several other countries over the last 15 years, including Honduras, Spain, Poland, the UK, Mexico, the USA and Portugal, exposing him to many experiences and different cultures and languages. Having initially worked as a language teacher and examiner, Dominic began translating in 2010 when he became an accredited translator in Australia (NAATI). He completed postgraduate studies in translation at the University of Sheffield in 2016 and went on to teach translation briefly on the same course before setting his course definitively towards professional translation.
